Well, the name droppers know that when it comes to solid FPS games, the Call of Duty line is the standard
(with the notable exceptions of the treyarch titles) to which other FPS titles are held to.
So, when the name was to be dropped to simply, "Modern Warfare 2", the community
was having none of it. Apparently branding is playing a large part in the marketplace as
well and the pressures mounting from all sides have coalesced to bring us
"Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2". It had to be.

Think that they can ever escape the destiny? Naw, but why would they want to.
We will always refer to each installment as Cod5, Cod6, etc... so long live Cod6!
