Well, the name droppers know that when it comes to solid FPS games, the Call of Duty line is the standard (with the notable exceptions of the treyarch titles) to which other FPS titles are held to. So, when the name was to be dropped to simply, "Modern Warfare 2", the community was having none of it. Apparently branding is playing a large part in the marketplace as well and the pressures mounting from all sides have coalesced to bring us "Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2". It had to be.
Think that they can ever escape the destiny? Naw, but why would they want to. We will always refer to each installment as Cod5, Cod6, etc... so long live Cod6!

SO IW is giving (well, not giving) us a special treat with the limited editions of the MW2 collectors editions. They have the regular collectors edition with art and all that in hard cover called "Hardened" and then the ultimate!~ NVG! Check it out here as Robert Bowling unveils it to us.

Fresh from E3, here's the latest in what looks to be a fairly complete level from Modern Warfare 2. We can get a better look at the snowmobile action, as well as a "UAV HUD" kinda thing on the weapon. Seems that he has to reload a lot, but I'm excite.(lol Sam)

"Banzai, Corrosion and Sub Pens" Are the new areas to look forward to in the new map pack 2 and Treyarch is giving us some weather affects too. From what he buzz is giving out, mist and fog are just two that should prove to really add that 4th dimension to these maps and tide us over until MW2O.
"Shi No Numa" (Zombie Swamp), Imperial Zombies rise from misty swamps in an all new co-op experience, with a level that features a mix of traps, flaming Hell Hounds, Perk machines and the deadly, new Wunderwaffe DG-2, as well as 10 new Xbox 360 Achievements/PS3 Trophies that can be earned along the way."
Costs are always speculative, but I think that we'll see it in the same price point for xbox and free again for the pc.
